Calculator for Estimating the Amount of Demolition Waste

The calculator can be used to estimate the amount of debris resulting from the destruction of apartment buildings and single-family (private) homes, as well as buildings housing general secondary and preschool educational institutions and healthcare facilities, caused by hostilities, terrorist acts, sabotage, or the conduct of work to eliminate their consequences.

To calculate the amount of debris from destruction, it is necessary to specify the type of building and the area of construction or destruction:

The total area of destruction is the portion of the total area or the total area of the building subject to demolition and is defined as the sum of the areas of all floors. The floor area of a building is measured within the interior surfaces of the exterior walls. Used for multi-story buildings.

The building footprint is defined as the area of the lot occupied by the building. The area under a building supported by columns, as well as passageways under the building, are included in the building footprint. Used for single-family homes.
