Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding (NUK) is a leading higher educational institution in Ukraine that trains specialists for shipbuilding and related industries, the maritime complex, and other sectors of the Ukrainian economy. The institution educates Ukrainian and foreign students.

Ukraine is a maritime state, which in the post-war period will definitely need the restoration of the maritime complex, the means of defense of the maritime border, development of inland waterways – the facility is critically necessary for national recovery and development.

In 2022, the university was subjected to massive rocket attacks with direct hits twice – in summer and autumn.

According to the results of the examination, about half of the building will be dismantled, which results in a direct need for designing the restoration of the institution, which has already begun (contracts have been concluded), cooperation with the state for the implementation of restoration works and the saturation of new buildings with modern and energy-efficient educational facilities.

Cost of production of design and estimate documentation: UAH 3 million.

Dismantling the structures of the hulls of the Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University destroyed by Russian missiles will cost 5 million hryvnias.

The cost of the works on the reconstruction of the facility will be determined after the development of the project documentation.
