The village of Khalyavyn was under Russian occupation from February 28 to April 1, 2022. People, in particular, the children of Halyavin, went through the real hell of the war — they lived without food, medicine and cut off from civilization.

The Khalyavyn Lyceum is the main Lyceum of the Novobilous Community. Children from neighboring communities are also brought here by bus. Now, when there is no shelter in the institution, children are forced to study online.
