This approach involves managing forests in harmony with natural processes, restoring biodiversity, and enhancing the resilience of forest ecosystems to climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, we discussed:<br>\u2022 European standards for forest management and the challenges Ukraine faces in the context of European integration.<br>\u2022 Practical examples of transitioning to sustainable forest management at the local level.<br>\u2022 The interconnection between forest policy, climate change, and energy security.<br>\u2022 Prospects for implementing the principles of the <strong>EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)<\/strong> in the Ukrainian context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/ustcoalition.com.ua\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/06\/486621729_616973064654556_534984435669473095_n-1024x640.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-852\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ustcoalition.com.ua\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/06\/486621729_616973064654556_534984435669473095_n-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ustcoalition.com.ua\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/06\/486621729_616973064654556_534984435669473095_n-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ustcoalition.com.ua\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/06\/486621729_616973064654556_534984435669473095_n-768x480.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ustcoalition.com.ua\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/06\/486621729_616973064654556_534984435669473095_n.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminar brought together experts, community representatives, state forest enterprises, and civil society organizations.
