Exclusion\/impossibility of operating the Chernihiv thermal power station as a source of thermal energy supply may cause technological disasters in Chernihiv, freezing and destruction.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"is-layout-flex wp-container-3 wp-block-columns alignwide\">\n<div class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-column\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ustcoalition.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/chernihiv_tec-edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1397\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><sup><em>Chernihiv CHP<\/em><\/sup><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-column\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p><strong>Type of object: <\/strong>critical infrastructure<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Number of beneficiaries:<\/strong> 226,000 persons or 48% of total consumers in Chernihiv<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Priority: 24<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location: <\/strong>the city of Chernihiv<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The looping of the centralized heat supply systems of the city \u2013 Municipal Enterprise &#8220;District Heat and Power Company&#8221; (Chernihiv CHP) and JSC &#8220;Regional Heat and Power Company&#8221; \u2013 will create an opportunity for consumers of thermal energy from Chernihiv CHP, in case of its stoppage or limitation in operation, to receive thermal energy from the sources of heat supply of JSC &#8220;Regional Heat and Power Company&#8221;, and will increase the reliability and safety of the centralized heat supply system of the city of Chernihiv. Among other positive factors of project implementation there are the following: reservation of heat capacities, improvement of the quality of services and reduction of heat losses in networks, extension of the operation period of the centralized heat supply system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Solution: <\/strong>connecting the two centralized heat supply systems of Chernihiv \u2013 Municipal Enterprise &#8220;District Heat and Power Company&#8221; (Chernihiv CHP) and JSC &#8220;Regional Heat and Power Company&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sustainable solution: <\/strong>the connected system can be modernized\/supplemented with new efficient sources of heat supply, in particular alternative solid fuel, with improvement of thermal, hydraulic regimes of the system and environmental indicators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project implementation time frame:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project\/expertise: 2-3 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Implementation: 8-12 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Estimated budget:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Development of project documentation: USD 0.3 million<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Implementation of the project: USD 13.84 million&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Due to the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, one of the main sources of heat supply in the city of Chernihiv \u2013 the Chernihiv CHP \u2013 suffered significant damage.
